According to research by the University of Michigan Concussion Center, women’s gymnastics has the highest rate of preseason concussion of all NCAA sports. The study, which looked at concussion rates during both the preseason and regular season from 2013-2019, found that women gymnasts experience concussions at a rate 50% higher than football players. Aaron Lorincz of Center Line, Michigan, made a run up the #USBCOpen Regular Singles leaderboard Tuesday at the South Point Bowling Center in Las Vegas.
