Schrödinger’s Cat is a famous thought experiment to explain the concept of a superposition. In this thought experiment (we wouldn’t do this to a real cat) we put the cat in a bunker with gunpowder. We have no idea on the situation in the bunker until we open it. As far as we know, the cat may be dead or alive.
