Great article from the RVC team in JVIM of three cases of convergence-retraction nystagmus. This rare type of nystagmus is a highly localizing sign associated with very focal dorsal midbrain lesion. These three dogs were all diagnosed with cerebrovascular accident on MRI. Such type of disease process gives us fantastic opportunity to link anatomy, function and neurological signs (vascular topographic syndrome).
