Let's start Monday with a SHARK VIDEO for day three of #SHARKWEEK The North Carolina Aquariums are leaders in sand tiger shark research and conservation. As part of the research projects, the NC Aquariums have deployed acoustic receivers on several shipwreck sites along the Carolina coast. These receivers tell researchers when there are acoustically-tagged sharks near the shipwrecks. The information gathered helps better understand how sand tiger sharks are using the habitats.
