Pearl's birthday was yesterday, December 7! She's 20 now! Pearl is the oldest Amur leopard in the Species Survival Plan and one of the oldest in the country. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of Amur leopards (approximately 100 in the wild and 71 in the SSP), so the fact that she's had 9 cubs is so important for her species!
