On Wednesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reported that Devin Booker has reached an agreement with the Suns for a contract extension worth $145 million over two years. It is the "highest annual extension salary in NBA history," surpassing the five-year, $285 million deal that the Oklahoma City Thunder handed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander this offseason.

Two people with knowledge of the contract say the Phoenix Suns have signed star guard Devin Booker to a two-year, $145 max contract extension.
