The Napa County DA said a man faces murder charges after his son died in a suspected DUI crash on July 18. Less than a week ago, the DA filed murder charges in a separate, similar case, in which two children died in a suspected DUI crash.

Around 6 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 20400 block of Pinehurst for a reported shooting, Detroit Police Capt. Marcus Thirlkill told reporters at the scene, according to a WDIV (Channel 4) video report.

PITTSFIELD TWP., MI — Shavonne Vinson, accused of murder in the shooting of a foster family, tried to lift her green jail uniform to reveal a handmade shirt while she stood Thursday before a judge. The shirt appeared to read “I stand tall for baby (name),” a reference to her daughter, who had been living with the family.

When police arrived at the home, they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds. All three were pronounced dead at the scene. Detroit police Captain Marcus Thirlkill said the shooting appears to have stemmed from a family matter and that all three victims are related.
