A Texas woman and her mustang here for the Las Vegas' Mustang Champion Competition plan to go back to Texas to help with search and rescue efforts.

It was Scott Ruskan’s first mission as a rescue swimmer for the U.S. Coast Guard on the Fourth of July along the Guadalupe River.

The visit aims to assess the damage firsthand and offer federal support to communities struggling to cope with the aftermath.
