BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Police in Old Town are looking for a big lizard on the loose. They say it was last seen near a home on Hillside Avenue.

Police in Maine are asking members of the public to report any sightings of a large tegu lizard recently spotted wandering loose in an Old Town neighborhood.

This isn't the first time the lizard has escaped, according to Old Town Police Department Sergeant Ryan Bailey.
