_1999: Kmart launched BlueLight.com, a stand-alone e-commerce company, in conjunction with Softbank Venture Capital and Yahoo!.

There was a redesign and the launch of Kmart Supercenters in the ‘90s and an internet presence in the form of bluelight.com was developed in 1999.
