A school teacher has admitted to fatally stabbing a married couple who were hiking at Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas.

Andrew James McGann, 28, was arrested at 4:57 p.m. local time on July 30 at a business in Springdale, Arkansas, state police said.

Police late Wednesday announced that Andrew James McGann, 28, of Springdale had been arrested on two counts of capital murder in the killings. He was taken into custody at 4:57 p.m. at a business in Springdale, the Arkansas State Police said in a news release.
