TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — The search for “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother still had no suspect or person of interest Wednesday, authorities said, four days after she disappeared with signs of forced entry at her home in southern Arizona.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was taken from her home against her will in a “possible kidnapping or abduction,” police said.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said investigators believe 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie was taken from her Catalina Foothills home between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 against her will, though officials currently found no evidence the incident was targeted.
A vigil for Nancy Guthrie will be held Wednesday in Tucson to support the family.
