Kohberger pleaded guilty to killing Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin and Kaylee Goncalves on Nov. 13, 2022, The Associated Press reported. They were students at the University of Idaho. For each of the counts of murder, the judge gave Kohberger life in prison, without parole, a $50,000 fine and a civil penalty $5,000 to each family.
