Tottenham have been urged to hijack a Chelsea transfer deal after missing out on Eberechi Eze to Arsenal. Spurs were closing in on a significant deal for England star Eze before their north London rivals Arsenal swooped in and agreed a deal with Crystal Palace.

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur have ‘raised their offer’ for a ‘top target’ after being beaten in the race to sign Arsenal newbie Eberechi Eze. Spurs have made a perfect start to the 2025/26 Premier League season as they have beaten Burnley and Manchester City in their opening two games.

Arsenal have confirmed the arrival of Ebere Eze from Crystal Palace in a deal that could rise to a figure in the region of £67.5million.
