There arguably wasn't a player more consistent for the Seattle Mariners in 2024 than starting catcher Cal Raleigh. Raleigh was tasked with catching and calling pitches for arguably the best starting rotation in baseball.

Seattle Mariners manager Dan Wilson addressed the entire team together for the first time at Spring Training, and some players say they're thankful he's at the helm.

"I think he's settling in good everybody," said Logan Gilbert, Mariners pitcher. "I mean, everybody loves Dan and knows Dan, but I think just getting to know him on personal level

It's fair to question how the players on the M's feel about ownership, the front office and the lack of spending, but having your team leader bought into the manager is certainly something that can't be ignored.
