The Washington Commanders finished 5-12 during Kliff Kingsbury's second season as offensive coordinator in 2025.
Two were on the field for all of the defensive snaps: safety Jalen Thompson and cornerback Denzel Burke. Safety Budda Baker missed four, Mike linebacker Cody Simon six and inside linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither 11. Ten defensive players and punter Blake Gillikin ended the season on injured reserve.
"Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak has gotten requests to interview for the Giants, Cardinals, Raiders and Falcons head coaching jobs, per source. His focus is on the playoffs, so he'll take a day or two and figure out a plan to balance all of it. Seattle is on a bye as the NFC's 1 seed."
